Happy Friday Bulldogs! Let’s take a minute to celebrate some of the many things that make Central great! Pet Christmas Sweater Competition This week, A Cause for Paws held a Pet Ugly Sweater Contest to raise money for Lucky Mutts Dog Rescue! With so many strong entries, it was hard for staff and students to vote on their favorite, but Mrs. Ulatowski’s dog Reggie (Sir Reginald) took first place! Thank you to Ms. McCann and Ms. Lyons for creating this fun event, which is sure to become a holiday tradition at Central. They were able to raise $195 for Lucky Mutts so far! Interact Food and Toy Drive Last Saturday, Central's Interact Club hosted its first ever drive through food drive! The event was a huge success thanks to the care of our amazing community. In total, we collected over 300 toys and 800 + pounds of food! It was amazing to see the outpouring of love and support. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!  Black Student Union Read Aloud This week, Black Student Union par

Central is very excited to celebrate student Alyssa Matthews (senior) and her accomplishment as a Questbridge Scholar who matched with her first choice college, Northwestern University this week through the National College Match Program. Completing an extremely rigorous application process, Questbridge Scholars are recognized as some of the best and brightest students in the country.  She also receives a full ride scholarship through Questbridge. Alyssa hopes to study Biomedical Engineering, so that in her future she can help people through the research and development of vaccines. Alyssa has consistently been one of Central’s top students throughout her high school career, and we are so proud of all of her accomplishments! Way to go, Alyssa!!
